Obon Farewell Fires

Obon Okame Series, Episode 10 & Midnight 2-Hour DTM
The theme is “a song inspired by a summer night.”
The concept of this series is a cockatiel enjoying the Obon holiday.
Today is the day of the Obon farewell fires.
In this illustration, Okame is waving goodbye to someone.
“There’s a ghost here and it’s scary, so I’ll just say goodbye from here… Bye-bye, Obon holiday! You can come visit two or three more times a year, you know!”
It looks like the ghost is lighting the farewell fire.
I created this piece with piano and ryuteki to create a mystical atmosphere.
