Thinking of Flowers

It’s already getting close to the middle of July, and summer has truly arrived.
This illustration features a pink little parakeet dreaming of the spring flowers it misses.
Even in spring, it’s rare to see pink blossoms stretching as far as the eye can see. But perhaps, every now and then, we all feel like pausing as the seasons move on and looking back for a moment.
I composed this piece for piano and violin, imagining a heart filled with blooming flowers.
