Nautical Twilight – The Sun’s Apparent Motion Series

らくがき

The concept of this series is to musically portray the astronomical day, from morning to night.
Nautical twilight begins when the horizon and the sky start to become distinguishable.
In Tokyo around this time of year, that would be around 3:27 a.m.
Today’s illustration features a cockatiel wondering whether to look for a midnight snack or breakfast.
“Nautical twilight, huh… I wonder if I can find some fish around here? 🐟”
With a gentle, unhurried piano, drums, and synth pads, I created this piece to capture the feeling of the sky slowly beginning to awaken.
I hope you’ll give it a listen. 🐥⛴

Though in the illustration, it seems the horizon and the sky are still a little hard to tell apart…
