I made an illustration and a song based on “PRRYAT Pianos” which I bought at a Black Friday sale.
PRRYAT is one of the cities in the former Soviet Union
It was banned from the area due to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident in 1986.
The sound sampled from the pianos that had been left in the area for 33 years is called “PRRYAT Pianos”.
The illustration depicts the pianos that have been patiently waiting for their owners to return and budgie gently stroking the piano that waits patiently for its long-suffering owner to return.
I tried to create an atmosphere of decadent ruins.
