Piyo-Piyo Variations-Sound Drawing: Two-Note Motif Variations

The illustration shows a little chick’s day, from waking up to going to sleep.
From left to right, you can see the chick waking up still a little sleepy in the morning, bouncing around energetically during the day, and getting sleepy again as night falls.
This piano solo uses the technique of developing a short musical motif by varying its rhythm, register, note lengths, harmony, and other elements.
It has a little “piyo-piyo” feel to it. 🐣🎹
