Here’s an illustration from when I participated in a two-hour late-night DTM session.
The theme was “a song that evokes parting.”
The illustration features a pink parakeet nestled in a field of Nerine (Diamond Lilly) flowers.
Nerine’s language of flowers is “looking forward to the day we meet again.”
Even if this world separates us,
if there’s a connection, someday, somewhere,
we might be able to meet again.
As a song inspired by the type of flower,
I envisioned one that captures the essence of parting and reunion. 🌸
