A sequel to my voicing étude.
The concept this time was: let’s try something that feels like music theory!
The illustration features a budgerigar holding a harmony textbook.
Perhaps it will become a bridge from classical harmony to contemporary music.
This piece was written for piano alone, using planing voicing
(a compositional technique in which chords move in parallel while keeping the same shape).
If you like, please give it a listen 🐥🎹
Is the book the budgerigar is holding the famous “Geidai Harmony” textbook?
