The concept is to take on something inspired by music theory!
The illustration shows a budgerigar sneaking away with one of the blocks
I’m not quite sure how it works, but even with a missing block, the structure somehow doesn’t collapse
Perhaps the harmony of the blocks also carries a sense of not quite resolving
This piece is written for solo piano, using Open Ending (a technique that intentionally leaves the ending ambiguous)
