Midnight Two-Hour DTM Session
Theme: A piece inspired by the collaboration of autumn leaves and snow.
The illustration shows a little budgie gazing in awe at the falling leaves and snowflakes.
Although the season of colorful leaves is late autumn,
those that remain even into winter are called “Fuyumomiji”—winter maple leaves.
Using piano, ryuteki (a Japanese bamboo flute), and bells,
I created a scene that carries both the quiet snowfall and the lingering scent of autumn.

I’ve never actually seen a scene where autumn leaves and snow dance together, but I’m sure it must be beautiful.
