They say, “In spring one sleeps, unaware of dawn,” but the calm climate of autumn somehow makes us drowsy too.
The illustration shows a little budgie who tried to turn off the lights at home, only to find themselves wandering into the glow of the starry lights.
With music box and cello, I aimed for the feeling of being sleepy but not quite ready to fall asleep.
