The other day, we had an unseasonable snowfall in Tokyo.
This illustration depicts a budgerigar gazing wistfully at the last snow.
It is said that the final snowfall at the end of March is called “Yuki no Hate” (the end of snow).
I created this piece with a music box and strings to capture the quiet farewell of the snow.
