Sakura-Nagashi

らくがき

The subject of the two-hour late-night poetry contest was so wonderful that
I took advantage of it and made this poem.
The poem is quietly placed in the illustration.
It seems that the rain that scatters the cherry blossoms is called “Sakura nagashi”

The illustration is a budgie looking at cherry blossoms.
The splendor of the cherry blossoms is fleeting, but the fading of the blossoms is also nice.
The meaning of the poem is that the cherry blossoms have already fallen when I went to see the cherry blossoms.
I also uploaded a song inspired by this illustration on Twitter.
I used a piano and a dragon flute to create the atmosphere of a cold spring rain.
Please listen to it if you like 🌸

Poem ☆☆ written from here
Cherry Blossom Flushing
When you try to see the flowers
The cherry blossoms are already falling
My heart is wet with rain
Cold petals on my cheeks

the sound of water that won’t stop rumbling
That petal is but a blur
Cherry blossoms flow, it’s raining again today

When I thought I was going to see the cherry blossoms, it rained and was scattered…
I feel that such a disappointing phenomenon can be forgiven with “Sakura Nagashi” 🌸.
