Starlit Station

This illustration was created for a late-night 2-hour music composition challenge.
The theme was: “Scene setting: You overslept on the train and found yourself at the final stop. With no way to get home, you stood there feeling lost and helpless. But when you looked up, you saw a beautiful starry sky.”
The illustration features a budgerigar who has discovered a starry sky at an unfamiliar station.
It seems that even though the little bird is lost, the stars make it feel as if someone is watching over him.
I composed the music with piano, synth pads, and bells, aiming to create the atmosphere of a vast, star-filled sky.
