The illustration features a little chick slowly making its way home, taking one tiny step at a time.
As the Japanese saying goes, autumn days are as short as the lowering of a well bucket. Lately, it gets dark so much earlier all of a sudden, doesn’t it?
I composed this piece using only the piano, aiming to capture the feeling of taking one step at a time on the way home.
I hope you enjoy listening! 🐣🐾
I have poor night vision, so I get nervous about moving around when it gets dark… 👀 Can our little chick see where it’s going, I wonder??
