Obon Okame Series, Episode 6 & Midnight 2-Hour DTM
The theme is “a song inspired by a sky full of stars.”
The concept of this series is a cockatiel enjoying the Obon holiday.
In this illustration, Okame has fallen asleep after eating watermelon on the mountain and wakes up at night.
“I always end up eating too much during Obon… Maybe it’s a blood sugar spike…? Why does it suddenly feel chilly behind me?”
Oh dear, it seems there’s a ghost nearby.
I created this piece with celesta, synth pads, and bells to capture the atmosphere of a star-filled sky.
