Obon Okame Series 　　　　　　　　　　　#4: Okame’s Watermelon

The concept of this series is a cockatiel enjoying the Obon holiday.
In this illustration, Okame is busily carrying a watermelon.
“Yay! I got the watermelon the ghost dropped!! …But wow, it’s a long way to carry it… I wonder if I could use it for bowling or something…?”
Oh dear, Okame is having some rather ominous thoughts. The watermelon might get angry! 🍉
I created this piece with mallets, flute, and bells to capture the bright, daytime atmosphere of Obon.
