Astronomical Twilight – The Sun’s Apparent Motion Series

らくがき

The concept of this series is to musically portray the astronomical day, from morning to night.
Astronomical twilight begins when the sky starts to brighten ever so slightly and the faintest stars begin to fade from view.
In Tokyo around this time of year, that would be around 2:20 a.m.
Today’s illustration features a cockatiel who woke up hungry and is wandering around.
“Well… since this could technically count as morning, maybe I can call this snack breakfast…?” 🐥
With a gentle, unhurried piano, drums, and synth pads, I tried to capture the feeling of the sky at the very beginning of the day.
I hope you’ll give it a listen. 🐥🌌

What time does astronomical twilight begin where you are? 🌌
