Theme: Scene setting — a confession
The illustration shows a budgie posting a precious letter.
Not a confession to the mailbox, of course —
but carefully slipping an important letter inside.
Choosing a handwritten letter instead of an email or a message to convey one’s feelings…
Perhaps it’s meant for someone who feels far out of reach,
almost like someone living above the clouds.
With harp, violin, and strings,
I composed this piece imagining a confession scene —
hesitant, yet gently stepping forward.
