Hydrangeas glistening in the rain have long been flowers that offer comfort to sorrow.
In times when medicine wasn’t as advanced as it is today, they were said to be offered in memory of those who passed away during the rainy season, when it was easy to fall ill.
Inspired by such hydrangeas, I created a gentle, rain-soaked atmosphere using pinkillo and celesta.
