This illustration was created during the ‘2-Hour DTM at Midnight’ session.
The theme was ‘Genre: Ballad.’
The illustration features a budgerigar encountering snowflakes dancing in the sky.
These snowflakes are known as ‘dendritic crystals.’
I learned that snowflakes always form in a hexagonal shape.
I composed a ballad-style piece to evoke the serene image of snow gently falling, using strings, celesta, and flute.
