January 11th was Kagami Biraki.
Oshiruko (sweet red bean soup) made with kagami mochi warms you up nicely.
The illustration features a cockatiel trying to eat the Kagami mochi.
“Hehehe… Well, well, this mochi looks like a feast worth savoring♪”
But wow, that’s one massive kagami mochi!
I created a somewhat traditional Japanese vibe with koto and flute.
Please give it a listen if you’d like! 🐥🍊
But seriously, can such a massive mochi really be opened safely?
