January 11th is the long-awaited Kagamibiraki (Kagamibiraki festival).
Eating oshiruko made from Kagamimochi (mirror-shaped rice cake) to pray for good health or something…
The illustration is of a happy cockatiel who got oshiruko.

I made it in Kagamibiraki style with xylophone and Japanese drums.
