This illustration was created for a 2-hour late-night DTM challenge.
The theme was “a song about ruin.”
It depicts a budgie who has realized that the flower is nearing the end of its life.
Ruin is something difficult to accept.
And yet, if it means eventually returning to where we came from, perhaps there is something strangely peaceful about it.
I used PRIPYAT Pianos and synth pads to create a quiet atmosphere of slowly fading away.
