This is part of my Bookshelf Series, featuring a budgie character.
The concept is a collaboration between book genres and music.
The illustration shows a budgie feeling on edge, completely absorbed in the story.
Perhaps a sudden twist has unfolded in the blink of an eye.
I used a music box sound to create a slightly eerie atmosphere.
