Tree Day

October 8th is called “Tree Day” because, when written in kanji, the numbers 10 and 8 combine to form the character “木” (tree).
The illustration shows Cockatiel-san enjoying a bit of forest bathing.
“Ahh… the air is so fresh! Well, to be honest, this forest only has three trees though 🌳”
That might not quite qualify as a forest… but since the kanji for “forest” is made of three trees, maybe it still counts!
I made this piece with acoustic guitar and soft pads to give it a warm, woody feel.
