Theme: a piece inspired by a traditional Japanese ryokan
The illustration shows a cockatiel who has suddenly arrived at a long-established ryokan.
“Let’s see… anyway, I want to have dinner in my room first 💨”
When it comes to ryokan, it’s not just the hot springs —
having meals brought directly to your room is an essential part of the experience.
Using shamisen and shakuhachi, I created the atmosphere of a luxurious ryokan
that this cockatiel probably wouldn’t get to stay at very often.
