The illustration features a little chick who looks like she’s about to be swept away by the wave of the new school term.
It seems she’s a little overwhelmed by the dizzying pace of everyday life after a leisurely summer vacation.
Using a technique that avoids harmonic resolution and explores the colors of the chords to create a sense of floating, this is an upbeat piano solo inspired by the image of a little chick tumbling around in confusion.
