Civil Twilight 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　– The Sun’s Apparent Motion Series

The concept of this series is to musically portray the astronomical day, from morning to night.
Civil twilight begins when there’s enough natural light for most everyday outdoor activities.
In Tokyo around this time of year, that would be around 4:03 a.m.
Today’s illustration features a cockatiel who finally gave in and bought a pizza bun at a convenience store that’s open all night.
“If it’s ‘civil’ twilight, that means a citizen cockatiel is officially allowed to start scurrying around, right?” 🐥
…Though, is a cockatiel actually a citizen? 🤔
With a gentle celesta, drums, and synth pads, I tried to capture the feeling of morning slowly beginning.
