The theme was ‘a piece using the shakuhachi.’
The illustration depicts a budgerigar contemplating practicing the shakuhachi on the riverbank early in the morning.
It seems like he’s worried about causing a noise before the city wakes up.
I tried to create a calm early morning atmosphere with piano and shakuhachi.
