Remembering Firefly Squid

The illustration shows a little chick who happened to encounter firefly squid by the seaside.
Around this time of year, there is a phenomenon known as the “firefly squid stranding.”
The glow along the night shore looks magical, but when I think about how the squid were carried there after exhausting their strength,
I can’t help wishing they could have lived a little more easily.
So I composed a reflective electric piano solo.
